As an avid animal lover, between professional photoshoots I enjoy volunteering my time to organizations such as Fly With Me Animal Rescue, based in Halifax.

Pictured here is Sadie, a rescue who has since found her forever home and who was an absolute joy to shoot with! It was a little chilly with not a lot of sun, but we made the most of it! Shooting on the grounds of Dalhousie University in downtown Halifax and then in the apartment of Sadie's foster was incredibly fun!

Since pet photos were how I got started in photography, this photoshoot was a great reminder of how I got started and some of the joy I take in pet portraits, and how I progressed that experience into more professional portraits and now into wedding photography
