My first couples' shoot in Halifax! Originally both from PEI, they moved to Nova Scotia around the same time I did, and we quickly got to chatting about being in a new city in Atlantic Canada.

It was a little chilly in late April, but along the way we got to explore Halifax Public Gardens, a historic Victorian style public park in downtown Halifax that is just gorgeous!

This shoot really highlights my candid style. While I gave Ashlyn and Brad a few pointers and adjustments in poses, for the most part I let them be themselves and just captured the shots that really sparkled, including a few goofy ones. Moments like those are something I always encourage in order to make the shoot atmosphere casual and care-free.
